This is the PMO Modernization implementation of OMV Reinstatement. This is currently in production in parallel (and interfacing) with the legacy system. It carries the same requirements as OEPT-206 as OMV will largely be using this instead of the Unisys for their day-to-day interactions with the system of record |

Reinstatement fees are collected and disbursed to many different agencies within the state as delegated in law. How much money are we talking about annually? $90M |
Inability to revoke/suspend/reinstate driving privileges would have a huge impact on the safety of citizens as well as an economic impact on the states revenue. The driver history is also stored here and used in determining eligibility of citizens to drive. LA OMV would not be able to conform to state and federal regulations/laws with regard to driving privileges. |
